The Arkansas Medicaid dental program returned to Fee for Service as of November 1, 2024, meaning dental providers will now bill Arkansas Medicaid directly for the eligible dental services they provide. Please email dentalproviderquestions@dhs.arkansas.gov if you have questions.

A new version of the Arkansas Provider Manual is now available. A description of the updates included in Arkansas Provider Manual v1.21 is listed in the Revision History located near the front of the manual. As a committed partner in combatting fraud, waste, and abuse in the Medicaid Program, MCNA works to prevent and recover overpayments paid to providers. Please refer to our latest Provider Bulletin to learn more about your office's role in identifying and recovering overpayments.

As previously communicated, beginning November 1, the Arkansas Medicaid dental program will return to Fee for Service (FFS). Please read our provider bulletin for additional information about this transition as it relates to orthodontics, dentures, and post-authorization of services.
